We have been talking about consciousness for many years now. Over that time, we have all evolved in different ways. For myself, it was my awareness of self and what is around me, which then became a greater awareness of what is conscious vs what is UN conscious. This to me is about what is known to me vs what is unknown. However, this was all still consciousness. So, what is that?
This blog is about my perceptions, knowing that it is still not all that we will know in the future. As I was starting to think about this, I reached out on a couple of platforms asking for people’s perception of consciousness. Here are some responses.
Awareness of self and the world around us. Such as…one morning on the beach I heard a seagull about 5′ away from me in the water. I stopped and looked at what it was telling me. When I looked up I saw that an entire school of harbor porpoise were filling the channel. There were hundreds of them. No one else on the beach even noticed. It was magical. So…aware of self and the world around us is consciousness to me.
How many times are we busy in our days and not really looking at what is around us? This is showing us that we have the potential to expand our awareness at any time. I think sometimes it comes unexpectedly and out of the blue. Then other times, it will gently come to our awareness. But I do believe this person’s experience is available to all of us and some like it will bring unanticipated joy.
Watching everything flow around me while I watch, listen (or not) and let it all flow around the all that I AM.
This is very specifically where we are right now! When we live in the higher consciousness we are removing the ego’s automatic response which keeps us hooked into trauma and drama. I know personally I’ve gone from feeling everything so intensely to now actually laughing or rolling my eyes when I realize I did it again! It is important for us to realize, we are human, we will not be in an ascended state 24 /7 because we are not intended to be there at this time. It’s about the journey, the growth.
I believe every person on a spiritual journey is a part of the word wide web of consciousness, we are all connected, we are one.
How many of you have recognized the energy of the collective consciousness? So many of us have been on this spiritual journey for many, many years. For me, it has been consciously since about 1992. Another interesting aspect of consciousness is that it is understood more easily, after it (or we) have changed, so in other words when you are comparing then and now.
I say this because I know I am constantly saying the energy is so ‘light’ now. I do recall the times it seemed as if I was walking through mud just to get through my day. It took so long any time I tried to make a change. Now, my perception is that the energy is transparent, translucent, lighter, easier to create change, easier to connect with my soul and in turn with the universal energy.
So the world wide consciousness is a reflection of what humanity has been trying to accomplish for all these many years. The ascension that we are currently experiencing is about moving out of control, manipulation, low vibration, and into the consciousness of light, expansion, love, and awareness.
The ascension is also about us opening to our intuitive abilities. It is intrinsic within each of us to know who we are and communicate with one another through more than words and actions. When we are in our higher frequency, we are able to have a greater knowing about the people around us. We can also communicate using these expanded senses.
Consciousness is an immaterial entity that exists independently of the body. The brain behaves more like an antenna translating and hosting this non-physical mind. Consciousness is the eternal fabric of reality itself and possesses the power to shape, manifest, and influence physical circumstances.
Knowing everything is a possibility, then focus/ choose the outcome I prefer.
Consider that statement for a moment. If, like a web that is constantly flowing energy around us, then we are constantly in contact, not only with what is here on Earth, but with what is in the Universe. It means that we have the opportunity to be always open, always have access, and therefore, grow to an even greater potential. It also means we are not alone. How long have you been lonely? Part of what lead to this journey for me was a feeling of ‘bone deep’ loneliness.
As we open to this infinite potential, then we each have…….. infinite potential! This is one of the major ways that we have are growing. Off hand, most people think ‘it would be great to be psychic’ or ‘it would be great to be telepathic’ or ‘perhaps I can be telekinetic’. The truth is absolutely, every person has the potential to be all of that and more. However, because it is so far outside our norm, we do not think we can actually utilize those gifts, or work with those energies.
So expanding consciousness is releasing the old restrictions and reinventing ourselves into someone that truly has all these gifts and can use them. I believe that was part of what prompted this blog. How do we know, what we don’t know? How we transition into something we don’t understand? This is the ego, that we are transitioning. It may be the same or different for you.
Awareness with no mind.
There is only One Universal Consciousness, the non-dual mind, called Source, God, the Universe. Rather than being inside your body, your body exists inside consciousness. Your individual awareness is simply the infinite universe looking back at itself through you, a specific vantage point.
We keep hearing about Universal Consciousness. We know that it is different than what we currently have on Earth. As I meditated about this, asking the Universal Beings, my soul, my groups to have a better understanding I saw that consciousness in the universe is like a highway. There are many different levels of consciousness, but I could see how so much was interwoven. My sense is that this is one reason that once in the universal consciousness people can communicate. Not everyone all the time, but in many forms.
Of course the universe it vastly more complex than this, however, it is a steppingstone or a means to step into that which we don’t know. I believe the more we open, the less fearful we will be. I believe as we trust in ourselves, we are trusting in our human self, our cosmic self, and in turn all that will be manifesting for us.
It is a leap of faith. But we also have the choice every single day to open to the flow of our higher self and soul. We have the choice to disconnect from anything that pulls us down. We can choose life and choose love every day!
